Depending on your needs and preferences, you may choose to live in a private home or apartment with or without services. You may also choose to live in a staffed residence, boarding home, assisted living, or adult foster care where services are provided to you. There are a variety of options that can help you find or keep housing in the community, including:

  • Assisted living
  • Living at home
  • Living in independent housing
  • Nursing Facilities – find detailed information about Medicare and Medicaid-certified nursing homes.
  • Senior housing
  • Subsidized Housing / Section 8 – provides safe, decent, sanitary and affordable housing to very low-income households.
